“We’ve Reached Legend Status,” Leleti Khumalo Celebrates Recent Award. It’s always humbling to see our legends get their flowers while they can still smell them. One such is Leleti Khumalo, who constantly gets recognized for the amazing job she continues to do in the arts.

Just a couple of months back, the legendary actress was awarded the Golden Nymph Award at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. This was for her work on Don’t Give Up. The short film, follows the life of Faith, a homeless beggar and a single mother of two young sons Lucky and Siyabonga. Faith’s bid to survive in the harsh environment of modern day Johannesburg, moved many people who watched the film.

Fresh from that international award, Leleti is back making more waves. She has just been honored with the Performing Arts Legend Award at the A Night With Legends awards. The awards ensure that South Africa’s heritage and icons receive national recognition while fostering cultural pride and unity. Reacting to the honor, Leleti expressed gratitude to everyone who has always been part of her journey.
