Applications Open for the Ithala Business Funding Opportunity. The Ithala Development Finance Corporation Limited, in partnership with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, is offering funding opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to start or expand their businesses.

Support Available for:

• Business start-ups and expansions
• Purchase Order (PO) funding to fulfill confirmed orders
• Equipment and working capital

Who Can Apply

• People with disabilities
• Start ups or existing businesses
• Businesses with confirmed purchased orders or contracts.

Basic Standard Requirements

Our basic standard requirements include the following:

• A completed and signed Ithala Loan Application form, which may be accessed on our website, or through our Business Finance consultants;
• Company documents (founding statement or memo and articles of association)
• Business Plan, detailing aspects such as marketing, technical, operational, human resource, financial and funding criteria, as well as an Electronic Financial Model;
• Audited Financial Statements for the past three years/projected financials;
• Key agreements and/or contracts, such as sales and purchase agreements; and
• A valid and current Tax Clearance Certificate; and
• Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) documentation
