Videographer Wanted At Kaya FM. KAYA FM reflects the lives of the predominantly black, urban listener between the ages 25 – 49 living in Gauteng. The station is looking for a videographer to join them.

Duties

• To conceptualize, produce, shoot, direct, edit and master final video products for internal and external parties
• To communicate and liaise with internal parties in order to transform briefs from clients into moving pictures or videos
• To communicate and liaise with external parties regarding videos and moving pictures
• To coordinate pre-production in terms of planning and the breakdown
• To manage and coordinate the production of videos in terms of filming and directing according to the planning and the client brief.
• To manage post-production in terms of editing, scripting for voice overs according to the checklist
• To QC videos produced/filmed by other (internal or external) parties according to picture, exposure, production value and sound (full HD) and to archive all video content (final product)
• Own development
• Must be able to work in high-pressure environments

  •  main purpose to:
    • “Record, edit, package & master pre-recorded content from commercials and promos to documentaries and inserts. Also operate the mixing desk for live on-air and recorded shows, operate the mixing desk for outside broadcasts, and ensure the on-air log with specific emphasis on the commercial log being in order

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification in video production
• One to three years’ video production experience

    • Audio editing and mastering knowledge
    • Quick turn around time
