Anga Makubalo Defends Ferguson Films
Anga Makubalo Defends Ferguson Films. Lately there has been bad blood between production companies and actors. There are salary issues and terms of employment among others. Entertainment blogger, Phil Mphela, is well known for advocating or the rights of actors. This time around he took to Twitter to talk about the disgruntled actors of Igazi.
TV: NO #Igazi Season 3
Plans for Season 3 of my fave @MzansiMagic series Igazi have been derailed by the refusal of lead actors to reprise their roles on the production. Sources tell me actors are unhappy with the salaries not reflecting their commitment to the show. pic.twitter.com/mFrI5VsibI

Anga Makubalo who played on the show, however dismissed the allegations. Speaking on behalf of other cast members, he stated that they have never approached by Ferguson Films for the 3rd season.
None of us were even approached for another season. So I’m not sure what these salary conversations are about and where they are coming from. We have not interacted with @FERGUSON_FILMS since season 2 ended.. 💁🏾♂️ https://t.co/afjsybXak4

Phil is still adamant that other cast members sing a different tune
There is no 3rd season and there were salary issues. Just confirmed on my TL by former cast member. Maybe they were not called for 3rd season but there is no dispute on the above info.

Anga saves the day again
Personally I was not approached by @FERGUSON_FILMS so I don’t know what these salary issues are. I’ve never even had a salary issue cc @Connie_Ferguson
