Retail Business / Hospitality Management Bursary
The Bursary aims at attracting and funding future Trainee Retail Managers who want to follow the lucrative management career in Retail. The Bursary is available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd year and B-Tech Students.
Requirements
Successful completion of the first semester of:
Grade 12 with an average of 70%+, or
National Diploma:Retail Business/ Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification with an average of 60%+
Number of bursaries available: 100

Chef (Professional Cookery) Bursary
This Bursary aims at attract and fund future Professional Chefs who want to pursue a lucrative management career in Retail.
Students in this area of study, who receive a bursary from the Shoprite Group, will kick-start their career by focusing on the Fresh Food Departments (deli, bakery, etc) within our stores or join the product development team at Head Office. This Bursary is available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or final year students.
Requirements
Successful completion of the first semester of:National Diploma: Professional Cookery or
equivalent qualification with an average of 60% or
Grade 12 students interested in becoming a professional chef
