Johannesburg City College Ordered To Shut Down Immediately
Johannesburg City College Ordered To Shut Down Immediately. It’s that time of the year when students are running up and down looking to further their studies. Friday morning, the Department of Higher Education together with local authorities visited colleges around Johannesburg CBD to verify if they are registered and their programs are accredited.
One college that found itself in hot water was Johannesburg City College. It was shut down after the department found out it is running illegally. “Deputy Minister @ButiManamela ordered Johannesburg City College to shut-down with immediate effect. The college is not registered to offer any higher learning programs,” read the tweet from the Department of Higher Education
