Khanyi Mbau’s Baby Daddy Mandla Mthembu Reportedly Late. For years, many have been asking about the whereabouts of Mandla Mthembu. He kept a very low profile, avoiding the public at all costs. Sadly, people now only get to hear of him, on his death announcement.

Mthembu was among wealthy business people in his era. He was the owner of the Martial Eagle Investment company. Well, he hogged headlines when he tried to strike an R7 billion deal in 2007 by then; he had an estimated net worth of R2.5 billion, according to several sources. However, he became R80 million richer when he sued Transnet, Sechaba Printing.

The once successful businessman acclaimed to fame, when he dated the much younger Khanyi Mbau. The two went on to have a daughter, Khanukani Mbau. The bubbly mogul was also known for driving around with the finest rides the world had at that time. He and Khanyi had matching Lamborghini cars, and always showed them off at every given opportunity. This is why Khanyi will forever be known as the first Queen of Soft Life, she sort of started the whole trend. Mthembu is also said to have dated controversial entertainer Zodwa WaBantu.

How unfortunate that when some have been waiting in anticipation for his return to the limelight, Mthembu is no more. A media statement released by his family confirms his passing. He apparently died in hospital, after suffering a second stroke. This is alleged to have happened in New York, where Mthembu has been staying for years. He was aged 68.
