Sales/Sponsorship Executive Wanted At Fox Network Group Africa (Sport). Reporting to the director of commercial and business for FOX Sports Africa, the sales coordinator will be responsible for; sponsorship sales, media sales and sponsor account management.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop leads with prospective and building an industry network
- Development of bespoke presentations, including market research and data to build powerful and persuasive proposals based on marketing objectives and business needs of potential clients
- Creatively use sponsorship assets/commercial assets to build and demonstrate innovative marketing programs
- Manage all contractual rights and work with sponsors to deliver their activation goals
- Be the central point of contact internally and externally for all partner-related activity
- Ensure marketing, digital and other internal teams are fully aware of all sponsor campaigns
- Work closely with all streams of business including marketing, digital and events departments
- Carry out duties to help support the FOX Networks Group strategy
- Draft weekly sales reports and manage pipeline activity across sponsorship and ad sales
Sponsorship
- Pro-actively sourcing potential sponsors
- Management, direction and delivery of all existing sponsors
- Ensuring all sponsors are integrated and achieve their business objectives
- Developing and presenting creative and bespoke partnership proposals
- Establishing a permanent market presence
- On-going management of sales leads to help achieve annual business targets
Media Sales
- Locate and contact potential clients to offer their firm’s advertising services
- Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients
- Inform clients of available options for advertising
- Prepare promotional plans, sales literature and media kits
Qualifications
- Any relevant degree
- Excellent IT proficiency, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential
- French fluency beneficial
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
- Individual has the ability to work on their own initiative, effectively both an individual and as part of a team
- Possess five years’ experience in high-value business to business sales
- Demonstrates experience developing relationships with key decision makers at multinational brands
- Experience working across Africa is beneficial
- Project management experience is advantageous
- Understanding of conventional and digital media platforms
- Experience in contract management

There is a stringent six month probation period.
