Making a powerful fashion statement, Thando wore a glamorous black Gert-Johan Coetzee gown on stage at the gala of the unveiling of the calendar.The 2018 Pirelli calendar features an all black cast, recreating the “Alice in Wonderland” theme, alongside our very own Thando Hopa. Among the 17 faces include RuPaul, Sean “Puff Diddy” Combs, Whoopi Goldberg, Naomi Campbell, Djimon Hounsou, and Lupita Nyong’o .
The Pirelli calendar is renowned for its sensual images of women since its first issue, captured by the best photographers in the world of fashion. The glitzy gathering was held in the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Centre in New York on Friday night.
