The Nation Mourns Cebo Manyaapelo
The Nation Mourns Cebo Manyaapelo. Legendary sports commentator Cebo Manyaapelo has passed on and the nation at large is mourning his death. Tributes have been pouring in since the announcement of his death last night.
Manyaapelo had been sick for a while, and eventually succumbed to his illness. Cebo Manyaapelo was among the popular radio and television sport commentators in the country. We extend our deepest condolence to his family during this trying time.
Cebo Manyaapelo took a listener inside the stadium with his voice, gifted and knowledgeable! I remember I was so crazy about him that I would turn off the tv volume and listen to him on radio while watching tv because the tv commentary was boring! RIP football giant

South Africa has today lost a broadcasting legend, a great man & a blessing to the nation. Cebo Manyaapelo was my colleague, my friend & in many ways, my mentor. He taught me about more than just football or commentary. He taught me about life…
