Adè van Heerden Is Now The New Miss South Africa 2017. After earning a place in the Top 10 at Miss World and Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters ‘s MissUniverse win, Adè van Heerden has taken SA’s most coveted crown. The medical doctor and second lieutenant at the Military 2 Hospital in Cape Town was crowned Miss SA 2017 Thursday at the Maslow Hotel in Johannesburg.
Van Heerden will now take over from Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, who was crowned Miss Universe on Sunday. Congratulations Ade, we are excited to watch your reign over the next 6 months!
