Another One: Nivea Under Fire Over Skin Bleaching Advert

Another One: Nivea Under Fire Over Skin Bleaching Advert. Just a few weeks after Dove got in trouble for their controversial ad, another beauty cosmetic brand falls in the same scandal. Nivea is at the centre of a racism scandal, following an advert which shows a black woman using what looks like a skin lightening cream.
The same as Dove people were not impressed and took to social media to air their grievances. Africans are proud of their skin tone, but some of these international products keep on imposing skin bleaching ideas on the African market.

Firstly we are not forced to buy it and there is a huge market for hopefully dermatologically tested and safer options.
