Multimedia Producer And Designer Wanted At e.tv. The successful applicant will be reporting to the GM: e.tv Online and Online Editor.
Key Performance Areas Include:
- Create and edit images for the e.tv website and social media channels
- Take pictures on set, at events or at live shows for use on digital and marketing platforms
- Film and edit videos for the e.tv digital platforms (DOP, Direct and shoot)
- Develop and deliver creative graphic and video content for campaigns
- Manage e.tv YouTube account and YouTube content strategy
- Manage video content on the website using a CMS
- Source raw and edited video and photo content from e.tv creative services, production houses or agencies
- Repackage and edit picture and video content for e.tv Online
- Compress and export video and pictures for web
- Assist on special stories with strong interactive multimedia components
- Edit and script multimedia feature stories for e.tv Online in a variety of formats, including entertaining or informative videos, audio slideshows, galleries and interviews or vox pops.
- Assist marketing, PR and sales with creative ideas and visual executions
- Develop and deliver strategy for multimedia content
- Taking full responsibility for video kit and associated equipment and maintaining corporate identity
- Keeping an accurate record and inventory of all digital media content assets, which include logging of video footage for editing.
- Ability to professionally operate a digital video camera (and Digital SLR) for Online and TV broadcasting
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in graphic design or multimedia design and photography or video production (animation/ motion graphics production a plus)
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as an online graphics designer
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years shooting and editing video and still photography
- Mac literate
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Speed Grade, Media Encoder)
- Professional knowledge of DSLR Cameras
- Basic HTML knowledge and ability to work in a web CMS
- Understanding online news and new media
- Strong Visual sense and eye for detail
- YouTube CMS knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure, and deliver on tight deadline
