Scandal Actor Mbulelo Ndlazilwana Finally Breaks His Silence

Popular Scandal actor Mbulelo Ndlazilwana who went completely silent following his arrest at a brothel raid, is back on Social Media.

The 21-year-old actor was bust at a brothel in Springs, Ekurhuleni in May, 2017. He was arrested with six men and 11 women between the ages of 19 and 43 when police swooped in on a brothel following a tip-off from a 25-year-old woman who had escaped.

Mbulelo – who plays the role of Scelo on popular ETV soapie Scandal – was due to appear in court for a bail application but his name was not on the roll.

Gauteng police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubela confirmed that Mbulelo didn’t appear in court with the other arrested suspects.

“He has been released,” said Makhubela.

He added that five of the 16 people Mbulelo was arrested with on appeared in the Springs Magistrates Court yesterday charged with sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

The suspects were released on bail.

Makhubela said Mbulelo will have to wait for police investigations to be completed.
