What A Woman: Letshego Zulu Reaches The Top Of Mount Kilimanjaro
We don’t think at the moment there is a stronger warrior than this beautiful soul! A lot of people will not be want to be reminded of the day their loved one died, let alone how they died. Today marks a year since Gugu Zulu passed on, and now his wife Letshego Zulu, honors him in a big way.
Although the pain of losing Gugu so suddenly has not yet healed, his loving wife, Letshego Zulu has decided to again start, what she and Gugu had embarked on last year. She and her team climbed the mountain in honor of Gugu and to raise funds for sanitary pads for school girls.
The hike takes place each year to raise funds to keep girls in school by buying them sanitary pads. This year follows the theme of #Climb4Gugu in honour of the late athlete. The late racing car driver Gugu died after attempting the very same climb last year‚ after struggling with respiratory problems. We salute you Letshego. Kudos to this strong woman.
