Robert Marawa And SABC Part Ways
After weeks of an ongoing feud between Sports journalist Robert Marawa and SABC, The national broadcaster and Marawa have officially part ways.
The Sports veteran refused to return to work weeks back because of the treatment he thought of as unfair by management to the producer of his show, Beverly Maphangwa. Beverly was suspended for violating her contract by doing something the management advised her not to. SABC sent a letter to Marawa a week later, saying that he has to give reasons why he shouldn’t be fired.
Some reports are saying Marawa was fired and other are saying Marawa felt that it was time to hit the road so he resigned and left the SABC. Only time will tell what the real story is but Robert Marawa won’t be on the streets anytime soon as he also works as sports journalist at Multi-Choice.
