Letshego Zulu Remembers Her Late Husband Gugu
It has been exactly a year since Letshego lost her husband Gugu Zulu while trying to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Just last week Letshego reached the peak of Kilimanjaro in honor of her late husband. Now today Letshego penned down a heart felt message remembering Gugu.
“We laid to rest an exceptional human being exactly a year ago,” she tweeted. A lot of people were moved by her short yet powerful message with one replying, “and this exceptional human being married an exceptional woman who makes sure that his legacy lives on…u are an one brave woman Letshego!”
The adventure couple as they came to be known showed South Africans how to live adventurously. But they were not about the adventure only; they did good wherever they could. How Gugu continues to celebrate her husband’s life proves the love they had for each other was real.
