Muvhango Kills Off The Character Of ‘Busi’! Muvhango’s publicist Amanda Ngudle confirmed to TshisaLive that indeed Bontle’s character of Busi Motsamai has been killed off. Bontle took over the role from Omuhle Gela back in 2015.

Amanda went on to explain thoroughly of why Bontle’s character was being killed off. She said ” Her character was off for operational reasons , she is at a critical stage in her university life and we didn’t like that her shooting was affected by her acting scheduling. So a collective decision was made and she was made aware of it and didn’t object to it.”

Bontle is currently at the University of Johannesburg doing Business studies.

According to Sowetan’s Insider, it is said that Bontle was told a day before her final shoot that her character was being killed off. Amanda went on to emphasize that Bontle was told on time.

Bontle couldn’t be reached for comment on the issue.
