I Feel Like I Died There With Senzo: Says Kelly Khumalo

It has been 3 years since the shocking death of Bafana Bafana player Senzo Meyiwa, who was involved in a romantic relationship with singer and actress Kelly Khumalo.

Kelly Khumalo spoke up today on Metro FM with DJ Fresh about her feelings. She expressed how the whole situation of Senzo’s death affected her. She went into details explaining how her life has been since the loss of the father of her only daughter,Thingo.

Kelly spoke of how things haven’t been the same with her since that horrifying night. “I feel like I died there with him at that particular time. Because it’s like ‘awu, bengi happy five minutes ago, and the next minute the person that I love the most is gone’.
And I’m not just dealing with the loss and the switch, I’m dealing with the entire country who’s bombarding me with a whole lot of things that I’m not responsible for.”

Kelly mentioned how she hasn’t healed from the whole incident and that it will always be a part of her.”It’s a process, and I don’t think I’ll safely say I’ve healed because I’ve got questions I’m like ‘what happened? Why would anyone do such a horrible thing?’ I feel like, I feel so robbed because there are certain things I’ll never have answers to, and I will never be at the place where I feel like I’ve healed.”

It’s enough pain to lose someone you love but to have them die in front of you can be rather traumatizing. Kelly sued a publication that she claims published lies about her not so long ago. She must be real tired for being in the news for all the wrong reasons.

She has been through a lot she deserves peace.
