Hlulisani Ravele Reveals Shocking Details About Her Kidnapping Ordeal
Radio and TV personality Hlulisani Ravele who most of you may recall from an SABC 1 youth show YoTv as a presenter years back, spoke of how she survived a kidnapping ordeal that left her fearful and shocked.
Hlulisani broke down the details of her being almost kidnapped by two men. “From my point of view, it honestly came across as something that was sinister. What happened is that I walked out the gym which is in a shopping complex into the parking lot and my earphones were on and this car drove passed. At first, I didn’t pay attention to it, but I could see that it had already passed me. But the minute I came out of the shopping complex the car did a dead brake and reversed so quickly towards me, it had no number plates on it,” She explained.
She said what made her even more scared was that, the time the whole ordeal took place, kidnapping women was the common thing. She felt she had no where else to turn.
“I looked in the car and there we two men and i was like, I better go to the right which means I am going passed the car and the backseat and the guy could just jump out the front seat and snatch me or I walk in front which is what I chose to do.”
Hlulusani was relieved to see a security guard ahead of the direction she was going. With all this kidnapping and killing of women taking place it is no wonder Hlulisani panicked so much.
She is currently working at a radio station in Limpompo, Capricorn FM as a weekend DJ. She just graduated with BA degree in Motion Picture Medium from AFDA.
