Dr Musa Mthombeni Accused Of Being Discriminative And Impatient With Patients
Former Yo-Tv presenter Musa Mthombeni who became a doctor just few years back is being accused by patients for being discriminative and impatient with them.
Musa works at Lenasia South Clinic which is located south of Johannesburg. Patients have accused him of disclosing their status publicly by referring to them as ‘chronic’ for everyone to hear. One of the patients stated that Musa is part of the reason people don’t come to the clinic because of his poor humiliating treatment.
Musa was reached for comment and this is what he said “I wasn’t aware of this and had not been called to any form of meeting, other than that, I can’t comment further.” He was witnessed by SunTeam chasing away one of the patients that came to collect medicine. “He didn’t even want to listen to my explanation, he treats us badly, his conduct is awful,” the patient said.
Prince Hamnca, Gauteng’s Health Department spokesperson was informed about the matter and said “As the department, we are guided by the Batho Pele principle which among others require us as public servants to be polite and to deliver great service to the public.”
Prince wasn’t impressed by all of this and said that they will look into the matter, investigate it accordingly and take necessary action.
