“Hosting Utatakho is awkward” – Nimrod Nkosi On Hosting Utatakho
Nimrod Nksoi is now almost two years into his job as the host of Utatakho and has reflected on his journey so far, including how it can sometimes be a tough job.
The Media personality has been in the industry for decades and over the years he has done a lot of shows. As the current host for Mzansi Magic hit show Utatakho, Nomirod says hosting the show is at times awkward.
“Hosting Utatakho is awkward. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable, especially when you have to speak to someone much older about intimate details of their past,” he says in True Love magazine.
Talking to Sowetan, Nimrod says he is “passionate about the restoration of black families, especially black men as leaders of their families.”
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t tough days on the job. Especially, when he has to ask older people awkward questions about sex. “I have to always compose myself and be tactful and objective with how I deliver the news,” he explains.
Nimrod admits to having cried twice on the show.
