Independent media is hiring and taking in interns: The Business Specialised Content Business Unit (BSCBU) a division of independent Media has a position for a multimedia journalist. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving content and generating ideas for use across all editorial platforms.

Requirements

• Must have a tertiary qualification in journalism or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years general writing experience in a newspaper environment
• Must have driver’s licence
• Have a strong presence on social media with number of followers
• Must supply video link as evidence of work to reflect well developed writing skills, high levels of literacy and the ability to make critical as well as valid news judgment
•  Must have and be able to supply a contactable list of high profile contacts
