Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Agree To Handle Their Divorce Privately!

Rumours have whirled for months that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were going to file for a divorce, but the gossip climaxed when Jolie turned gaunt. On Monday, The two famous actors announced in a joint statement that they have both reached an agreement and they will handle their divorce in private forum.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said they will continue working together to reunite their family and they will keep their future details of their divorce confidential by using a private judge. Clearly both parents are willing and committed to act as a united front to do damage control and induce reunion

Their statement reads as follows “The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all courts documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues”. Since Jolie filed to end the marriage in September, this was the first joint statement from the two actors.

The most important issue of their divorce is the custody of their six children. Jolie is initially seeking exclusive physical custody. California law encourages joint custody in these kinds of divorce cases. However, the final agreement is often formalised by the parents.

It is an undeniable fact that the divorce saga of these two actors has attracted both local and international attention. It was reported that Brad clashed with his eldest last during a flight last week, but the father was cleared of any wrongdoing. Jolie and Brad have been together for 11 years, they became very close when they were filming 2005’s Mr.&.Mrs. Smith. Both actors have kept a low profile since their breakup was announced.
