1. Lemon juice could be of great help.

Cut a lemon in half after you have rolled it for few seconds. Carefully remove the seeds with your fingers and squeeze the juice through a strainer into a bowl. Dip a cotton bud into the juice and apply to the spots you want to remove. Rinse your face with cool water after the juice has dried up

3. Try Potatoes.

Slice up a potato and place it on the dark spot for few minutes then wash your face with lukewarm water.

5. Use buttermilk

This is also one beneficial home remedy for getting rid of dark spots and patches. It helps fade blemishes and black spot. It however causes a little burning sensation. Mix few teaspoons of buttermilk and tomato and apply it then wash your face with cool water.
