Transnet is offering an apprenticeship to students to be trained as artisans and Skilled workers in the following trades and field

• Electro-mechanician
• Electrician
• Plater
• Welder
• Turner Mechinist

Requirements

• National Technical certificates level 2 with relevant technical subjects or
• National Certificate Vocational Level 3 with relevant technical subjects or
• Technical Matric with relevant trade theory subject

Training will be provided at the following  campuses:

• Uitenhage Campus: Electro-mechanician, Electrician, Plater, Welder, Turner Mechinist
• East London Campus: Electrician
• Port Elizabeth Campus: Electrician

Please also note:

• SA citizens studying towards these trades or related fields without any other bursary obligation and with outstanding achievements are encouraged to apply
• Appointments will be made in terms of the company’s EE policy and recruitment and selection policy
• Please note that NO accommodation and/or transport assistance will be provided
