Learnership Sales Consultant Opportunity At Meriting Youth Development

Meriting Youth Development is looking to employ a dynamic person to join our progressive NPO as a Learnership Sales Consultant in the Joburg Area. Purpose:
To secure business through professional and proactive learnership sales activities directed at decision-makers in order to meet targets. 
The incumbent will report to the Project Manager and Board.

  • Actively prospect and leverage new business.
  • Cultivate strong long-term relations with key businesses interested in recruiting young graduates.
  • Analyse potential work opportunities by linking the best candidates with prospective clients and monitoring results against plans.
  • Handle administration related to the sales function and completion of contractual documentation.
  • Adopt successful strategies and tactics to meet demands and budgeted targets.
  • Maintain high visibility in the learnership selling and exhibition environment.
  • Record all client-related sales activities.
  • Implement regional related Sales plan to maximise growth and development of the new and existng client base.

Job Requirements:
Essential Requirements 

  • Relevant diploma or degree
  • Strong negotiation skills and closing abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport. Flexibility to travel.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years proven track record of working in a target-driven sales environment, preferably in the training industry.
  • Willing to go the extra mile.
  • Committed to providing high quality service
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
