Actress Connie Ferguson Didn’t Leave Generations Permanently
Connie Ferguson left Generations: the Legacy in June this year to focus on her other TV projects, including Mzansi Magic’s The Queen. This will be the third time that Connie will take up her role as Karabo on the soapie.
The actress is set to reprise her role as Karabo on popular SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy in 2017, the show’s creators confirmed this on Wednesday.
“We (Generations) have a great relationship with Connie and so when we called her to help us with her storyline‚ she was happy to return‚” explained Mokheti.
Ferguson recently returned to set and we can expect to see her on TV as early as January 2017.
According to Mokheti, Ferguson would be on the show for an undetermined period of time based on the way her storyline develops.
“She will be on screens for as long as her storyline needs her. The character of Karabo has always been key to the show‚” said Mokheti.
