Overview

The role requires an experienced graphic designer to assist with marketing, design and promotional tasks with an aim of creating awareness to the products and services of the business.

Key responsibilities

•  Provide graphic support for the Absolute Pets retail team.
•  Conceptualise, plan, design and produce a wide range of graphic material from simple to complex.
•  Designing promotional elements and signage with a strong merchandising focus.
•  Working with the marketing department on all creative projects in line with the brand identity.
•  Assist with the development of marketing strategies.
•  Creating designs for digital and social media.
•  Amend existing illustrations, fonts and web designs etc in accordance with brand requirements.
•  Design email newsletters and flyers.
•  Maintain retails maps and additional marketing material.

Requirements

• A diploma/degree in graphic design.
• One to four years’ experience, with retail graphic design advantageous.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• High-level sense of design, typography, layout and photography.
• Attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
