A year ago, Nambitha hosted the Cultural Connections Sessions at the 3rd Annual Essence Film Festival. Nambitha also participated in Essence’s “Hollywood House x EFOC” on Friday, as a mentor in “Laser Networking-The Actor’s Den”. The multi-award winning actress had the opportunity to have brief, targeted business chats with industry insiders.
Now another opportunity have availed itself for Nambitha to shine internationally. She has been invited as a special guest and speaker at the prestigious 21st Zurich Film Festival alongside some Hollywood greats. Scheduled to take place from 25 September – 5 October 2025, the film festival is the largest fall audience festival in the German speaking market. This year the festival is honoring Colin Farrell and Wagner Moura.
Nambitha will speak at the Leading FeMales NextGen event to take place 3 October 2025. The event shines a spotlight on inspiring women, as they share their career journeys and highlight the various challenges within the film industry. The Zurich Film Festival invites guests to an exclusive lunch event to explore the current film landscape from the diverse perspectives of female voices.
