Job Description

Purpose of Job/Role Intent: To offer students the opportunity to obtain practical work experience related to their field of studies, as required by the tertiary institution in order to complete the applicable degree.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required: Individuals must currently be registered as full time second or third academic year students and be able to provide written proof that vacation work is required by the tertiary institution for graduation purposes.

Core Elements of JOB & Key Performance Indicators: Effective execution of tasks and instructions provided by the Line Manager / Supervisor. Provide adequate feedback with regards to progress of tasks / project. Successful completion and presentation of vacation work project.

Competencies

Leadership Behavioural Competencies:  Motivated, team player, good communication skills and independent worker able to successfully complete tasks with little supervision.

Functional Competencies: Computer Literate and pro-active self-motivated person with a lot of initiative.

We need a CV, copy of ID, full academic transcript, proof from University that vacation work is required for graduation purposes, confirmation that student will be available for full  /total period of time. Security checks to be done. Accommodation and transport cannot be provided during the vacation work period.
