RAF: Learnership Programme 2017

Closing Date: 04 October 2016

Applications are invited for learnerships from unemployed Matric/Grade 12 graduates between the age of 18 and 35. The learnership programme will run for a period of twelve (12) months.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certified copy of Grade 12/ NQF level 4 certificate
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of Grade 12 results
  • Your CV and motivational letter

INSTRUCTION TO PROSPECTIVE APPLICANTS

  1. Indicate the name and the reference number for the Internship you are applying for on the subject line.
  2. Submit a short CV and a motivational letter as to why your application should be considered with a maximum of 3 pages, applications with no transcript will not be considered.
  3. Indicate the branch for which you are applying.

The Road Accident Fund subscribes to the principles of employment equity and preference will be given to groups who are under represented in terms of our Employment Equity Plan

Please note that the prospective employees will be subjected to security vetting

  • Follow up on queries from stake holders
  • Complete payment requisition on offers made
  • Draw and file correspondence received
  • Collect and deliver files to all relevant departments
  • Copy of necessary documents and send file copies to the relevant stake holders

 Records Management LearnershipLocation: Head Office, Pretoria

Work based exposure may include the following:
  • Receipt of claimants documents and other correspondences, scanning and indexing thereof
  • Attend to critical documents within the required timeframe
  • Retrieval, filling of documents and files and updating of files
  • Timely dispatch of incoming/ outgoing mail, documents and files
  • Administer and maintain effective and efficient movement registers of documents
  • Uphold the confidentiality of information and records
  • Record all queries and channel them to the relevant people
  • Attend to correspondence
  • Office administration and Records Management
  • Records Creation
  • Records Maintenance
  • Transfer of Administrative Support Records to CAFS
  • Determination of Records Retention Periods
  • Disposal of Records
  • Transfer of A-20 Records to National Archives
  • Transfer of Inactive Records to a Temporary Archives Storage or Off-Site Storage Facility
  • Destruction of Records
  • Litigation administration
  • Implement paper-based File Plan in Head Office
