We currently seeking a junior bookkeeper who will be reporting into the Finance Director:

Key performance areas

Debtors:

• Assist with debt collection
• Oversee processing and generating of invoices
• Issue invoices and statements to client services teams
• Monitor and reconcile receipts
• Update and manage invoice control spreadsheets
• Assist with debt collection

Creditors:

• Issue purchase orders on all internal related expenses
• Prepare supplier invoices and staff expense claims for weekly payments
• Reconcile Creditors invoices to statements

Credit cards:

• Reconcile slips to statements

General duties: 

• Control and reconciliation of petty cash
• Filing and ad hoc admin duties
• Assist financial manager with other duties as required

Knowledge and skills requirements:

• Processing and reconciling accounts
• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Proactive, self-management and planning skills essential
• Good presentation skills
• Discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Professional and ethical
• Interpersonal skills are important
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

Education:

• Accredited bookkeeping qualification

Work Experience:

• Two or three years as junior bookkeeper
• Computer skills including proficiency with MS Excel, experience working on Chase and Navision accounting systems is advantageous.
