Kaya FM Suspends Sol Phenduka and Here Is What Social Media Has to Say. He is currently on top of social media trends after news of his suspension broke. Kaya FM has just released a statement that Sol Phenduka has been suspended pending trial investigation.
The radio station has confirmed that the seasoned media personality has been placed on suspension with immediate effect. This is pending the outcome of an internal process. They also assured everyone concerned that the matter is being handled with fairness, sensitivity and due process. Kaya FM however did not disclose any further details at this stage. They have however promised to keep the public informed as soon as there are developments.
“Our focus remains on maintaining stability across the station and continuing to deliver the highest quality of programming for our listeners,” Kaya FM said.
Sol joined the radio station back in June 2022. This came after he vehemently stated the previous year, that it will take a lot for him to come back to radio. Together with the phenomenal Dineo Ranaka, Sol hosted 959 Breakfast, and they made such a great duo. The two took over from former breakfast hosts Thomas Msengana and Skhumba Hlophe. Dineo was eventually let go by Kaya, and his position has since been filled by Sizwe Dhlomo.
