Gogo Maweni and Sabelo Mgube Welcome Twins. Congratulations are in order for the couple, who recently welcomed a set of twins. Gogo Maweni, whose real name is Lee-Anne Makgotso Mofokeng gave birth to her twins on the 19th of July 2025. Her loving husband Sabelo Mgube was right by her side.
This is great news for the family, as they started the year on a bad note. In January, Gogo Maweni spent some time in Sun City prison with charges relating to a 2019 assault case, where she allegedly attacked someone with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Because of her arrest, Gogo Maweni had to come clean about her pregnancy, which she intended to keep private.
10 days, after giving birth, to her bundles of joy, Maweni has decided to share the news with the world. The set of twins have now made he traditional healer and reality show star, a mother of five. Her first-born son is from her previous relationship with an unidentified American man, she had her second born with actor Sthembiso Khoza and another one with former soccer star Siyabonga Zulu. The new addition, have brought more joy to the growing family.
