Black Coffee is one proud father. He has taken to Instagram to wish his eldest son, Esona (whom he calls “boy boy”), a happy birthday. His son Esona is also an aspiring DJ and Black Coffee posted screenshots of conversations the pair have where he gives his son advice on both music and life.

He recently posted a conversation where he encouraged his son to invest the money he makes from show back into his music.
