Nonku first born, Nothile Ncwane who was born in 2007 is from her relationship with the late Gospel star, Sfiso Ncwane. She then got married to a man, whose identity she would rather not reveal. Even though it was short-lived, Nonku’s marriage to her ex-husband was blessed with two sons Musawakhe (Wakhe) and Phendulile.

Today Phendulile, her last born, is turning six years of age. To mark the milestone, Nonku took to Instagram to share a touching story regarding her past fertility issues.

“I probably have told this story so many times but its amazes me every time….my journey to having you….
Not 1 but 3 Dr Specialist telling me of my inability to conceive…whereas I’ve had 2 beautiful children before you with no complications,”
she began.

According to Nonku, she was told by doctors that her eggs are rotten. This meant that even if she conceives, she will not be able to carry full term or if she does then her child would be a special case.

“Boy were they wrong!
Two IVF’s that immensely failed became a reality for me that it was really impossible to fall pregnant again. I cried, I begged God and eventually accepted my fate….I would never be able to have more kids,”
she continued.

6 months later Nonku discovered that she was pregnant. There was IVF’s, or doctors, the pregnancy was just natural. The day she found out, Nonku went secretly to her room, closed the door and sobbed.

Concluding her story, she said, God told me to name you Phendulile for He had answered my prayer. I’ve never seen such a super intelligent 6 year old…
My faith was renewed. I’m in awe at The Power of God, His immeasurable love and that indeed He is God Emmanuel!
