Inspired Youth Workshop to Open #YouthMonth Career Development Expo at Nasrec in June
Pride Factor, founders of the Inspired Youth platform designed to motivate the future leaders of South Africa, are proud to announce that they have been invited to conduct a workshop on the opening day of 40th annual celebrations of Youth Month at the National Exhibition Centre (Nasrec) in Johannesburg on Saturday 11 June.
In conjunction with event production partners Liquorish Inc, Pride Factor will be collaborating with the National Financial Literacy Advocacy, National Youth Skills Development Programme, One Young World, the SABC Foundation and the Gauteng Department of Education to produce a full day of aspirational activities for more than 4 000 teenagers to open the 2016 Youth Month Career Development Expo.
The Inspired Youth workshop, with a theme of Entrepreneurship, will feature talks, personal insights and interaction with the audience by a quartet of the country’s most influential role models, alongside motivational tasks, interactive competitions with valuable prizes, performances by talented participants and other live entertainment.
Hosted by Pride Factor MD, Dene Botha, each participant receives a gift bag with motivational materials, a programme and a special memento of the occasion, as well as lunch.
The afternoon session will comprise programs by the National Financial Literacy Association while One Young World will host a Gala Dinner at the venue in the evening.
The 2016 Youth Month Career Development Expo runs from 10-19 June and includes hundreds of exhibitors showcasing information from different industries and academic institutions. Attendance is expected to exceed 10 000 people each day.
