‘I Am Not A Quitter’, DJ Cleo Explains.

During the past few years, a lot of us have been asking questions about DJ CLEO’S whereabouts. Questions such as, ‘Did he quit music?’ or ‘Whether it’s true he left music for soccer? Not that there was anything wrong with Dj Cleo’s new venture but let’s be honest. After all the success he had received over the past years music-wise and then the sudden change? Ok let’s not be too judgmental, the man is a hard-worker and we have witnessed that for sure.

After wondering about whether he will still pursue music? Finally, our questions got answered. DJ Cleo is definitely back! Well, he is back “Es’khaleni” (In the scene). He says he is passionate music and he is still in the music game. “I am not a quitter”, he also added.

He explains that he never left the music industry. “I just took a break to chill and for self introspection”. Dj Cleo says he shut everything out for a full year, where he never availed himself for interviews and gigs because he needed time to put things into perspective.

When asked about his career in soccer he said, “I am at peace knowing that I tried to play soccer but it’s unfortunate that age is not on my side”.

Now you have it, it’s not a made up story but its words from DJ Cleo himself. At the moment, he is working on promoting his new single “Gogo”. Hopefully, this track will put him back on track.
