Job description
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on campaigns across a variety of mediums, with a special focus on paid performance marketings campaigns (Google Adwords, Facebook, Twitter, etc). Successful candidates will be placed on a training programme with a view to specialising in a specific field of marketing, but will need to be self-starters who are able to drive much of their own growth.

Key responsibilities
- Attending marketing workshops and completing assignments.
- Conducting data analysis and providing insights.
- Assisting in the set up and testing of campaigns across performance marketing channels.
- Contributing to Social Media community management.
- Completing one short course (UCT Digital Marketing) and one additional certification relevant to the field of specialisation e.g. Google AdWords certification.
Requirements
- Applicants should have a sound fundamental understanding of marketing and a keen interest in data and Analytics.
- Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly.
- Should have good organisational, prioritising and time management skills.
- Must be extremely computer literate, with competence in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel), Gmail and Google Docs.
Job specific competencies
- Prior Analytics experience would be beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good stress-management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
