Rapper AKA Gives Back With His #AKAScholarship Program
AKA may have a flashy Instagram page, but it hasn’t stopped him from putting the youth first in his community. The rapper recently has announced that he has partnered with Bridges for music and the SAE Institute, to provide a scholarship. The scholarship #AKAScholarship is for a higher certificate in sound production and they are now accepting applications for their 2016 scholarship program.
The program covers the full year tuition for SAE’s full-time Higher Certificate in Sound Production at the state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Cape Town at the renowned Woodstock Exchange. The SAE Institute in Cape Town is South Africa’s internationally accredited tertiary institution delivering creative media education in sound, film and animation.
“I, myself went to study sound engineering after school and still use many of those tools in my day to day work whether in studio or on stage. Application information available at www.capetown.sae.edu #SUPA? “- AKA wrote on his Facebook page.
