Job description
Overview
To plan and coordinate the merchandise events through effective forecasting and project management of resources and information to ensure successful implementation.
Purpose and objectives
- To develop, maintain and update the project critical paths of events to include key milestones, budgetary requirements, resources required and measures of success.
- To ensure effective communication (including required reporting) with all stakeholders across the business for the merchandise events.
- To monitor and manage the project risk by developing and driving mitigation plans through effective planning and forecasting.
- To coordinate and present financial analysis of the project pre and post-event review, capture learnings and communicate through presenting and reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
- To maintain all merchandise events process documentation to ensure relevance of content.
- To identify more efficient and effective methods and processes for events on an on-going basis to improve costs and time savings by establishing the analytical framework.
- To develop and manage the seasonal calendar through effective project planning, financial planning, coordination and consultation with key stakeholders to ensure we meet planned availability and profitability targets as set by the merchandise team.

Job experience
- Essential: three to five years’ experience in retail – in a buying or planning role
