Job description

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced web designer.

The candidate will design great user experiences for highly visible customer-facing websites. You will work on a variety of client projects to create a diverse set of front-end designs and websites. This position will take websites from initial spec, to wireframes and eventually implement the designs with HTML and CSS to work in the browser.

The candidate must be familiar with WordPress and be able to set it up, build and modify existing themes to meet project requirements.

The candidate should also keep up to date with the latest design and coding technology and trends.

Candidates are required to attach a file or link to examples of past web design work in order to be considered.

Requirements

– Eye for design
– Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
– Hand-code HTML5 and CSS3
– Experience with WordPress
– Responsive web design
– Understand and implement UI/UX principles
– Understand and implement best web practices
– Understand and implement on-page SEO practices

– JavaScript and/or jQuery
