Lakers star Nick Young affectionately known as Swaggy P dropped to one knee on his birthday to offer Azalea the giant rock, which got him an enthusiastic yes. And fast forward to today, in the wake of Iggy Azelea fiancé Nick Young’s alleged on-camera cheating confession, rumors are swirling about the couple’s relationship status.
NBA player Nick Young tweeted and deleted a few pointed messages on Thursday, March 31, after a video leaked this week of him allegedly admitting to cheating on his fiancee, Iggy Azalea, to his Los Angeles Laker teammate D’Angelo Russell.
His updates are likely directed at Russell, 20, who’s received the brunt of the blame for capturing the private conversation. In the clip, Young allegedly admits to numerous infidelities, including a dalliance with an unnamed 19-year-old.
Azalea, meanwhile, took to Twitter on Wednesday to react to the now-viral clip. “Hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film,” the rapper wrote. “Thanks bro.”
And Azalea, 25, opened up about the scandal. In a series of tweets posted Wednesday, she touched on the future of her engagement after a fan asked “what’s up” with her and Young, 30.
“Nothing really. I’m chillin for now,” she replied.
