Singer Cici Lands Her Very First Acting Gig!
The RnB singer Cici is taking over the charts and it’s evident that she is well on her way to becoming Mzansi’s queen of RnB. Cici, who’s real name is Busisiwe Twala is not only taking the music industry by storm but she is on a mission to showcase her acting skills to the whole of Mzansi. Cici has landed a role on etv’s soapie Rhythm City.
A Rhythm City source confirmed that Cici will be joining the soapie. Her character will be seen from next month. The source said, “This is supposed to be a secret , but anyway since she won an award last week, she’s going to be the shining star in the studio. I’m happy for her.”
“I’m not sure if she has acting skills, but let’s hope she’s going to master her lines,” another source said.
When Cici was asked about the TV gig she said, ” Talk to my boss, Arthur. I can’t comment on anything at this stage.”
To celebrate her success , the singer will throw a mega bash with stablemates from her music label 999 on 2nd April at the State Theatre, in Pretoria.
