“I’ve Had a Long Dramatic Fertility Journey,” Redi Tlhabi. Any woman struggling to conceive will tell you about the emotional pain that they endure. Celebrity women like Lerato Kganyago and Thobile Mseleku have spoke boldly about not being able to carry kids of their own. Although they have kids, women like Basetsana Kumalo, Bontle Modiselle, Pam Andrews and Connie Ferguson, are among those who have opened up about their miscarriages.

Another woman, who has had her fair share of drama when it comes to bearing children is Redi Tlhabi. She is a mother of two children, Khumo Tlhabi and Neo Tlhabi. Redi is also a second mother to the children that her husband got with Brian Tlhabi first wife, being Ofentse and Lesego Tlhabi. Just like women who have had miscarriages before, there are things that trigger Redi and take her back to the pain she went through.

One of her friends, Palesa Morudi shared a throwback picture, which led to Redi revealing her painful ordeal. The award winning news anchor, broadcaster, author and moderator stated that in the picture she was pregnant, but sadly it didn’t work out at the end.

I had a secret. I was pregnant (It didn’t work out in the end) mara ne ke le mit! Beautiful memories. Thanks for sharing,” Redi said.

Even though, she went through the worst, Redi always believed that one day she will be a mother. As a mother of four, she is filled with gratitude.

Thank you. I’ve had a long dramatic fertility journey. So many mishaps…but I always believed I would be a mother…somehow. Somehow. So I’m filled with gratitude,” Redi said.
