“I was bullied in high school. God Knows I fear Bullying”- Says HHP
HHP is far too confident to be anything but bullied, right? Wrong! Apparently, his younger years were pretty rough. The Motswako MC isn’t shy about admitting that he was once bullied as a child. And today, HHP tries to comfort people with similar feelings and express that it is acceptable to be different in life especially in the Hip Hop industry.
There’s something equally empowering about hearing the stories of those who have been bullied themselves — especially because they got through it, survived it and, in some cases, went on to become successful and well known. As we speak, HHP is also involved in the ‘I am not a silent witness campaign’ against bullying.
Celebrity involvement in social causes is nothing new, of course. But in the case of bullying, it sends a potent message: “I once felt just like you — despairing and without hope — and look what I made of my life.”
HHP urges his fans to endure bullying. He says it will eventually come to an end one day.
