SA Films Selected For The Pan African Film Festival

SA Films Selected For The Pan African Film Festival. South African films to make a mark in the international stage. A number of our local films have made waves at the Pan African Film Festival in the past. Films like White Gold, The Award Ceremony, The Zulu Wedding film have all taken a part at this prestigious event.

This year once again, local films are part of the Pan African Film Festival. One of the films selected is Poppie Nongema, which is based on the award winning novel by Elsa Joubert. It was released on the 31st January in 2020 nationwide. Another film, titled, Address Unknown, which has also been selected for the 2021 Pan African Film Festival in the US. Back of the Moon and We Are Dying Here are also some of the films selected.

CONGRATULATIONS to these SA films for being the official competition selections for the Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) which will be taking place from 28 February to 14 March 2021. A special shout to NFVF Funded film “African American” We are rooting for you. #LoveSAFilm.”

by visionaries who highlight the diverse stories of Black America, Africa and the global Black Diaspora.
