NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
The learnership will cover the following aspects:
Routine analysis of all products using approved methods of analysis as well as non-routine methods.
Maintain Laboratory Equipment and Analysis – ICP-OES; AAS; MFI; pH meter and Conductivity meter; Spark OES and Lathe Matchine; E sampler and Gillibrator for Lead in air analysis
Reporting results on LIMS and CCLAS;
Doing Profit and Loss analysis on Vision software p;
Ordering Lab consumables,
Capturing maintenance requests and Leave Applications
Method Development and Validation;
Understanding of Total Quality, Safety, Environment & Test Laboratory Systems; ISO 9000:2005; ISO 9001:2000/8; ISO 18001(OHSAS); Legal Liability (NOSA); ISO 14001 (EMS); ISO 17025 & SANAS
NO PRIOR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

National Diploma in Chemistry
