HR In-Service Trainees

Kellogg Company of SA in partnership with various Higher Education and Training Institutions is committed to offering an opportunity for 2 students to participate in the work experience program offered by the Food and Beverage Seta in the HR space.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as an in-service trainee at Kellogg:

• You will receive experience / meaningful work in areas in the HR field as agreed with by the Training Institution with which you are registered.
• Assist in identifying, planning and delivering training based on the training strategy and training needs
• Implement and drive all the National Skills Framework related initiatives and drive the relationship between Kellogg Co of SA and the Food & Beverage SETA
• Assist HRO with recruitment, IR and general administration.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn, to succeed in this position and to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

• Students must have completed the theory component of either a National Diploma/BTech in Human Resources and require work experience in order to complete their qualification.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Students will be placed on a 12 month fixed term contract and will rotate through a structured program that includes spending time in the Quality, Sanitation and Food Safety departments.  Students will be required to work shift work as part of their program.
